Pastor Kent C Creamer was born September 11, 1972, in Martinsburg, West Virginia to Deacon Thomas and Roxann Creamer. He accepted Christ and was baptized By Reverend Carrol Johnson at an early age. He was a member of St John Baptist Church in Shepherdstown where he served as a youth usher and youth choir member. After graduating from Martinsburg Senior High School in June of 1991, Kent joined the United States Air Force where he served until retirement on August 1, 2015.
Reverend Creamer united with the St John Missionary Baptist Church in Clovis, New Mexico in 2002 where he worked and grew under the leadership of Pastor Joe Callahan Jr. During that time, He served as a Sunday school teacher, Bible Training Union leader, and youth mentor.
On July 30, 2004, Reverend Creamer married the love of his life, Diana. Together they raised three sons.
In May of 2005, he was ordained as a deacon at St John Baptist Church where he served until God elevated him. He announced his call to preach in December of 2013 and preached his first sermon on January 18, 2014. He was ordained by Pastor Callahan of St John Baptist Church in January of 2017.
Pastor Creamer has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview TX. He has served as the General Secretary of the Mount Olive Baptist State Convention under President Joe L. Callahan Jr. He Currently serves as the Moderator of the Jerusalem District of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist State Convention
Reverend Creamer was called to serve as Pastor of St John Missionary Baptist Church in December of 2018. He was installed in March of 2019. Titles do not matter to Pastor Creamer; he wants to be known simply as a servant of God!
